Interactive Sound Designer/Researcher

Lily is an interactive sound designer and researcher with a primary focus on sonification. Her work explores how sound can translate data and processes into forms that are aesthetically engaging and perceptually meaningful.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Technology from the Beijing Film Academy and an MSc in Sound and Music Computing from Queen Mary University of London. She is currently a Research Assistant in the School of Design at Southern University of Science and Technology, working in sound studies and the Humanities Virtual Lab, where her practice follows a research-through-design approach to interactive and environmental sonification.
